Grandma B. and Mindy took Daicia to go check out from school early so they could all be there after the baby came. They made it just in time. They were so cute. Waiting at the door to hear the baby cry.
Averrey made a card for me at school today and couldn't wait to give it to me!
On December 1, 2008, we went to the hospital at 8:00 to be induced. They started me on the Platocin and gave me my epideral (which was fabulous. I was dialated to a 3 for pretty much the whole time. Dr. Nichols came in and broke my water around 1:30 and I was still dialted to a 3. I think it finally changed to a 4 a little after that. I was felling a little pain on my left side so I upped the epideral and they switched me to lay on my left side. That was lots better! About 3:00 I was at an 8 and about 3:30 I was ready. The Dr. came back got everything ready and I pushed 7 or 8 times and 3:39pm our little boy was born! Weighing 7lbs 11oz and 19 1/2 inces long. 10 tiny toes and 10 tiny fingers and these beautiful full lips! He is perfect!
Taking the Oath Tuesday November 18, 2008 Tyson was sworn in as an Police Office for Murray City Police Department. Him and one other guy were sworn in. Tyson had to take an oath and then I got to pin his police officer badge on him. It was pretty cool. Congratulations Tyson!
Yesterday was Halloween and we had a lot of fun. The ghouls loved dressing up in their costumes. Averrey was a Gothic Scorceress and Daicia was a Butterfly Princess. They must have been a little excited cause they woke up really early! I got Averrey ready for school in her costume. She looked awesome! They didn't have a parade at her school so I didn't get to see her and her friends all dressed up. They had a carnival instead. She had fun though. Daicia decided to wear her costume all day....she picked her shoes and wasn't about to change them so make sure you look! They were just fabulous with her pretty costume. We went to my mom's for chili and met everyone else and went trick or treating around their neighborhood. Aleena was a Flapper Girl, Spencer was Venom, JT was Bumble Bee (off of transformers, Ryan was a witch and Austin was....well I'm not sure! All the kids were full of energy running to every house. They got lots of candy! And then of course the "BIG" kids wanted to go by themselves so they went on their own and we took the babies to a few more houses. It was fun to see the little ones have so much fun trick or treating!
We carved our pumpkins the other day. We had lots of fun watching the girls be grossed out at pulling the seeds and goo out! Daicia didn't enjoy that so much! She probably stuck her hand in twice to pull stuff out but that was it. Then she spent the rest of the time playing with the scooper in the seeds and goo we pulled out! Averrey did really good this year. I think this is the first time she has actually gotten her hands in it. She designed the face of her pumpkin and Tyson carved it with a little help from her. Tyson carved his own today all by himself and made it really awesome (looks like Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas) Averrey's is the one with the vampire teeth and Daicia and mine is the other one.
We had to ride one more time before it gets too cold. So we went to the sand dunes a couple of weekends ago. We had a great time. My whole family was there except Teresa and Tyson's brother Ray came. Don't worry I didn't ride! It was hard but I didn't! My dad had a blast riding on the Dunes. I think we have him convinced to get a 4 wheeler now! :) Here are some pictures of our trip. (There isn't too many of riding cause Tyson didn't do his job while they were riding)
