OCTOBER 24 PUMPKIN PATCH DAY!

We went to the pumpkin patch! We had lots of fun picking out pumpkins! Averrey picked out the biggest of course! Can't wait to carve them! Averrey thinks she is going to carve it alone.....ha ha!

A Ride thru Apline Loop

We took a ride through Alpine Loop a couple weeks ago to see the leaves changing colors. The day before we went we had a storm and it snowed on top of the very tip tops of the mountain. It was beautiful to see all of that happening at the same time!

Labor Day Weekend at Potters Pond

So 1/2 the fam went to Potters Pond to do some fishing and riding. The kids well and the BIG boys had a great time fishing. They caught lots of fish and had a blast doing it! My dad, Chris and I took an awesome ride up the mountain and it just went on forever. The views were beautiful, unfortunately my camera died and I didn't get to take any pictures. :( Thats a ride we will have to do again. We had lots of fun playing Apples to Apples and the kids had fun hanging out without adult supervision in the other trailer. We had alot of fun and of course missed everyone else!

DAY TRIP TO THE DUNES

So we decided to go to the Dunes for the day with no kids. We had a good time! It was really hot though! But completely worth it! Kelly and I made it up Sand Mountain for the first time! It was so awesome!

The boys found a spot and did some jumpin!

DJ got ROOSTED by Zach and it was pretty funny! If you could have seen Zach's face and his movement while he was doing it it was like he was going NA NA NA NA NA!!!!!
Afterwards DJ had to shower off....

23. Laughing at an inside joke with FRIENDS
24. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you..
25. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep
26. Your first kiss (either the very first or with a new partner).
27. Making new friends or spending time with old ones.
28... Playing with a new puppy.
29.. Having someone play with your hair.
30.. Sweet dreams.
31... Hot chocolate.
32. Road trips with friends.
33.. Swinging on swings.
34. Making chocolate chip cookies.
35. Having your friends send you homemade cookies.
36.. Holding hands with someone you care about.
37... Running into an old friend and realizing that some things (good or bad) never change.
38. Watching the expression on someone's face as they open a much desired present from you.
39. Watching the sunrise.
40. Getting out of bed every morning and being grateful for another beautiful day.
41. Knowing that somebody misses you..
42. Getting a hug from someone you care about deeply.
43. Knowing you've done the right thing, no matter what other people think.

THE POLICEMAN

The Policeman stood and faced God, which always must come to pass. He Hoped his shoes were shining. Just brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, policeman. How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To my church have you been true?"
The policeman squared his shoudlers and said, "No, Lord I guess I ain't, because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, and at times my talk was rough, and sometimes I've been violent, because the streets are awfully tough.
But I never took a penny, that wasn't mine to keep, I worked a lot of overtime when the bills just got to steep.
And I never passed a cry for help, though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here, They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had to much, but if you don't I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne where the saints had often trod. As the policeman waited quielty, for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, policeman, you've borne your burdens well. Come walk the beat on Heaven's streets, youv'e done your time in hell."
